Ottawa Roundtable on International Law & Double Standards

Ottawa Roundtable on International Law & Double Standards hosted by the University of Ottawa’s Human Rights Research and Education Centre, the event created an informal space for cross-field exchange on how claims of selective application and enforcement shape the practice, perception, and legitimacy of international law. The programme foregrounded the interaction between double standards and political interests, including a focused discussion on “exceptionalism” and its implications for international legal authority.
