Double Standards in the Emerging Multipolar Order examined how double standards are expressed in international legal argument and institutional practice, and how evidence and accusations of inconsistency shape legitimacy and compliance across issue areas. Set against debates about a shift from a Western-led “rules-based” order toward more decentralized and multipolar governance, the discussion highlighted how these dynamics are framed and experienced from different vantage pointsand institutions.
