Double Standards and International Law

Double Standards and International Law brought together scholars and practitioners to examine how double standards are expressed in international legal argument and practice, and how such inconsistencies shape legitimacy and perceptions of the international order. Co-organized by the Berlin Potsdam Research Group “The International Rule of Law – Rise or Decline?” and Harvard Law School’s Program on International Law in Armed Conflict, the workshop emphasized cross-regional and cross-disciplinary perspectives.
